I know if you’re an Indianapolis fan you could taste 16-0. Most fans wanted to be a part of history so badly they would risk injury to any and all players for the chance to go undefeated. The thought of matching and passing the 2007 Patriots was almost to much to deal with.
How many people are questioning Jim Caldwell now? Its hard to argue with the results, The Colts were dominant against a tough Ravens team. In years past resting players in the final week proved to be a disaster. Coming into the game Indy was 0-3 all time after securing a first round bye. Tonight the Colts looked great holding the Ravens to just 3 points in a one sided 20-3 route.
Indy’s defense came into this game ranked 24th against the run while the Ravens were 5th in rushing. Tonight the Colts stepped it up on defense holding Baltimore to 87 yards on 19 attempts.
Now the Peyton will wait to see who will be coming into Lucas Oil Stadium next weekend.
